Helps you see all active network connections on your PC in real time. Advanced Connection Viewer is a simple and easy-to-use application that lists all active TCP/IP connections, while keeping that list fresh. You can set your preferred refresh interval (in seconds) and decide when you want the automatic refreshing process to start and stop. In addition, you can save the connection information in log files.
As soon as you run the program, you will see the active connection list as a table. For each connection, you will see some detailed information, such as its protocol, local and remote IP address and port, and the connection status. You can select one or more rows and right-click on any of them to log that information into a file in CSV format. Besides that, you can double-click on any connection to execute a "whois" query, which will show you very detailed information about the owner of that remote IP address. That information includes the IP location, the ASN, the resolved host name, the net range and name, the organization’s name, its location, and many more details. Of course, this is probably the most useful feature provided by this program.
Even though Microsoft operating systems include a command-line tool to display all that information, Advanced Connection Viewer allows you to see it in a much more legible way. In conclusion, Advanced Connection Viewer will surely be of great help to many network administrators.
